Our founders, Jamie, Andrew & Ben have extensive financial services experience servicing third party introducers in the asset finance market. We understand the market continues to evolve, and so too will Maple.
Andrew is well known to the Australian asset finance market, with more than 30 years industry experience. As a founding employee, he pioneered Macquarie Leasing to one of Australia’s most successful asset lenders. He was formerly Head of Commercial Asset Finance and Executive Director at Macquarie Bank and also established Macquarie’s vehicle finance business in the UK. Andrew was formerly Chairman of AELA (now AFIA).
Jamie has over 30 years' experience in financial services with Macquarie Bank, American Express and KPMG. Jamie was formerly Division Director, Head of Aggregator Sales and Head of Receivables Lending at Macquarie. Prior to joining Macquarie, Jamie was Head of Corporate Finance & Loyalty at American Express.
Ben has more than 14 years' experience in financial services, spending his time in both retail and commercial banking. Ben has extensive operations, risk management and technology skills, developed through his time at National Australia Bank and Macquarie Bank. Ben was formerly National Operations Manager for Commercial Asset Finance at Macquarie.
Steve is highly respected in Australian Capital Markets with over 35 years senior management experience with NAB and Westpac. He pioneered sustainable finance in the Australian bond market. He was Executive General Manager - Corporate Finance at National Australia Bank, where he was responsible for global originations and managing over $100Bn in assets. Today, Steve is principal of CMC Advisory and a Non-Executive Director with some of Australia's fastest growing Fintechs.
